By running experiments we got to know the elements that could make this service a success. In a very short period we found the right audience, the right price and how to deliver a high quality service. The result is that laundry is now a breeze.

Palthe approached us with the idea to make “the Uber of laundry”. Palthe recognised the change in the industry that required them to take steps to explore new digital business opportunities, but needed help to do it in a way that would actually be successful.

We discovered a completely different target audience than Palthe initially had in mind.

The assumption was that the service would be interesting for upscale business types in the financial district, but it turned out the service had a much wider appeal. By running proposition experiments on facebook we quickly discovered that there was a lot of enthusiasm from many different types of people. For example, busy mothers with a career who have a desire to outsource their laundry, as well as seniors who no longer were able to do their own laundry. This had a lot of implications for how the product looks, feels and works.
